Hydro culture vs soil
Plant displays can be supplied using either the hydroculture or traditional soil planting method. There are pros and cons for each and each membership country tends to favour one option over the other. These are as follows:
Scandinavia – 85% soil, 15% hydro
Germany – 75% hydro, 25% soil
France – 50% soil, 50% hydro
UK – 90% soil, 10% hydro
Netherlands – 75% hydro, 25% soil
