Join us for the EILO excursion to Berlin and experience an exciting capital where history, architecture, and interior landscaping converge. Transformed since the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, it has become a centre for biophilic creativity and innovation. At Potsdamer Platz, previously a barren no-man’s land, we will discover the Potsdamer Platz Centre, a powerful architectural symbol of the city’s renewal. Alongside these urban landmarks, we will visit creative design concepts such as the Living Tree Project by Element Green, showcasing the future of interior landscaping.
This unique trip offers EILO members the opportunity to gain inspiration and exchange expertise with European colleagues. Berlin continues to evolve as a living laboratory where nature and design shape the urban environment.
Programme
WEDNESDAY 30th September
We will begin the event on Wednesday evening at the hotel, with an informal welcome and the chance to meet fellow participants.
THURSDAY 1st October
Morning: An educational session will open the day, followed by interactive workshops.
Afternoon: We will visit innovative projects, including the spectacular vertical Living Tree Project by Element Green, located in the Radisson Collection hotel.
FRIDAY 2nd October
Morning: A symposium featuring guest speakers will explore the latest ideas and developments in interior landscaping.
Afternoon: More project visits including one of Europe’s largest vertical gardens, an extraordinary installation of 6,600 plants at the Dussmann Kulturkaufhaus designed by renowned French botanist Patrick Blanc, inaugurated in 2012.
