Imagined by UAU collectiv in collaboration with Jaspers Eyers architects, the design of the new City Hall of Hasselt (Belgium) aims to bring together the current administrative services in one location and in this way to organize the service smoothly and in an approachable manner for the citizen.
Architect Frederik Vaes had the idea to bring some green touch to this modern building and decided to apply a total surface of 100 square meters of preserved moss on the tall 12 meters high ceiling.
The installation had to be done by night and was entirely done by Greenmood\’s team, using a scaffold. Thus making it one of the most challenging ceiling projects we ever did before.
Greenmood aspired a warm and attractive green project where everyone would really feel at home.
