Category: Living Green Walls

This project features a monumental indoor living wall, rising 12.5 meters and stretching 11 meters across. Containing approximately 5,500 living plants, the installation was created as a biophilic centrepiece in a showroom defined by technical precision and exclusive design. From concept to completion, the green wall was integrated into the architectural planning process and became a vital part of the interior identity.

The client, Koenigsegg, envisioned a space that would complement high-performance industrial objects with something entirely different—alive, organic, and in motion. The green wall brings that contrast to life: a vertical landscape that softens the space, adds a sense of calm, and provides a natural counterbalance to the mechanical and engineered surroundings.

Designed to thrive in an environment with almost no natural light, the wall is supported by a fully automated watering system and a bespoke lighting solution tailored to simulate natural daylight. Every element of the wall’s design and infrastructure was developed with long-term function, plant health, and visual integrity in mind.

Visually, the installation offers movement, texture, and scale. Botanically, it provides complexity, diversity, and vitality. Its presence transforms not only the appearance but the feeling of the space—making the environment more welcoming, balanced, and alive.
