We carried out an indoor landscaping project to decorate and revitalize the offices of our client Sodexo, based in Issy-les-Moulineaux.
The main objective was to integrate nature into the workspaces in order to improve employee well-being, promote concentration, and strengthen the company’s image by creating an environment that is both aesthetic and functional. To ensure the success of this project, we adopted a collaborative approach from the very beginning. We worked closely with employees to understand their expectations, work habits, and the specific constraints of each space.
This participatory approach allowed us to involve end users, thereby promoting their buy-in to the project and ensuring that the proposed plant solutions were better suited to their needs. At the same time, we collaborated with the interior designers responsible for renovating and fitting out the offices. This coordination was essential in order to harmoniously integrate the plant elements into the overall design of the spaces, while respecting technical and aesthetic constraints. Thanks to this partnership, we were able to offer tailor-made solutions adapted to the volumes, lighting, and traffic flow within the offices.
Drawing on our expertise in indoor landscaping, we have selected a range of plants suited to the specific conditions of offices, particularly in terms of light, maintenance, and impact on air quality. We have focused on hardy, easy-to-maintain plants with air-purifying properties, such as ficus, sansevieria, pothos, and indoor ferns. Each plant was chosen with its location in mind: large potted plants to structure open spaces, and smaller plants to bring life to corners. This diversity of plants creates a balance between aesthetics and functionality, while bringing a touch of nature to every corner of the office.
Beyond its decorative aspect, this plant arrangement was designed to improve employee well-being. The presence of plants helps reduce stress, improves air quality, and increases concentration. By integrating green areas into relaxation areas and open spaces, we have created environments conducive to collaboration and creativity.
This indoor landscaping project perfectly illustrates the importance of a collaborative and expert approach to successfully integrating nature into workspaces. By combining the expectations of employees, the technical constraints of the designers, and our expertise in plants, we created an office environment that is both aesthetic and functional, as well as beneficial to the health and productivity of the teams. This project demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing a pleasant and modern working environment, where plants become a real asset in everyday life.
